Higher-order correlations

Web7 de jun. de 2012 · We define higher-order correlations as a statistical moment of order greater than two that is not uniquely determined by the first- and second-order statistics. According to this definition, higher-order correlations go beyond the linear correlation and can - but not necessarily have to - involve more than two neurons. WebIn this paper we shall calculate the third-and higher-order intensity correlations, [1] which are more sensitive to the higher decay rates of the laser than the well-studied second-order intensity correlation. This will provide a more detailed understanding and test of the RWVP model. Keywords Coherence Time Threshold Region Intensity Correlation

WebHigher-order time-correlations and the associated skewnesses and flatnesses were measured in a turbulent field downstream of a grid using high-speed computing techniques. The results were obtained using samples of 160 020 digitized data recorded at time intervals of 1/12 800 sec during time periods of approximately 12.5 sec. Comparison … Web14 de jan. de 2024 · This survey paper discusses behaviour of higher order correlations for one-parameter dynamical systems and more generally for dynamical systems arising from group actions. In particular, we present a self-contained proof of quantitative bounds for higher order correlations of actions of simple Lie groups. Web2 sets of 2-point correlation functions between pairs of points among those 4 points A nontrivial contribution from the interaction term with one of it's field insertions at each of the 4 points. So you can see that higher order correlations functions give you very important (an unique) information in an interacting physical theory. Web12 de abr. de 2024 · Our paper aims to make important contributions. First, while most prior research on rule breaking with the primary intention of promoting the welfare of others (i.e., pro-social rule breaking) has focused on examining factors that prompt such behaviors (e.g., Dahling et al., 2012; Morrison, 2006), we answer the calls to investigate the outcomes, …
